Make Your Move: Teachers LIVE

Write applications that get you noticed and sound like you.

You've been teaching for a few years. You know you're good at it. But when you sit down to write an application, everything you write sounds flat, generic or like you're bragging.

Most teachers find writing about themselves harder than anything else in the process. Selection panels read a lot of applications that all sound the same. The ones that stand out are specific, backed by evidence and written in a real person's voice.

In this workshop you'll work on your own application, in the room, with feedback.

This day is for you if:

  • You're a few years into teaching and ready for a new school or a new role
  • You're thinking about a sideways move, a stretch role where you are, or leaving for something new
  • You find selection criteria confusing or draining
