You've thought about leaving education more than once. Maybe more often than you'd say out loud.

Some weeks you're exhausted and over it. Other weeks you're just restless, wondering if this is all there is. Then a student says something that reminds you why you started, and you're back where you began, still questioning.

That loop is draining. It's also very common among teachers and school leaders. Usually it means you haven't had the time, space or structure to think it through properly.

To Grit or To Quit gives you that day.

Two directions, six pathways

Drawing on the six pathways from Teach, Lead or Leave, you'll look at every option in front of you and choose with your eyes open.

Grit means staying in education and making it work for you:

• Stretch: grow into a bigger role or a new challenge
• Pivot: move to a new school, sector or role that makes the most of what you do best
• Love the job you have: reshape your current role so it fits you again

Quit means taking your skills somewhere new:

• Pivot out: take your expertise into a field beyond education
• Leave for something else: for when you know you're ready to go but can't yet name where
• Create: build a career on your own terms

Both directions take courage. The day helps you work out which one fits your life, your values and the next chapter you want to write.

This day is for you if:

• What's possible? All six Teach, Lead or Leave pathways, explored against your own situation
• What's in the way? The mindset traps that keep capable educators stuck, and how to move past them
• Where am I heading? Your near-term, mid-term and long-term career goals, mapped so today's decision connects to the future you want
• What's my first step? One small, low-risk action, sharpened with peer coaching

You'll walk away with:

• A clear direction and a short list of what you need to consider next
• Career goals mapped across the next term, the next few years and beyond
• One small step, ready to try, that gets you moving towards the career you deserve
• A room of educators who know exactly where you are, because they're there too

After the workshop

You'll be invited to an online group accountability session to check in on how your first step went and what you learned.
